The journey of our parts
PARIS, FRANCE
Art Direction — Richard & Edmond Design
This stage marks the starting point for every ZAYNE piece.
It is where the vision takes shape.
Through drawing, volumes, and proportions, Richard and Edmond define the garment's intention: silhouette, balance, and function. Every detail is carefully considered beforehand — cut, drape, use — to create pieces that are precise, comfortable, and adapted to movement.
Art direction lays the foundations.
It sets the course for all subsequent stages.
FUJIAN - CHINA
Yarn selection & weaving
≈ 20 km
This step consists of creating the material that will bring the garment to life.
The yarns are first selected according to precise criteria: resistance, flexibility, breathability and touch comfort.
They are then woven or knitted to obtain a textile with the right balance: weight, drape, elasticity and durability. Each parameter is adjusted to meet the requirements of the final piece.
The different workshops involved in this process are located close to each other (around 20 km), which allows for smooth, fast and controlled development.
FUJIAN - INDUSTRIAL PARK
Panel preparation
≈ 25 km
Each panel is individually prepared to ensure seamless assembly and a silhouette true to the original intent. Cutting precision is essential: it determines the quality of the drape and the final structure of the piece.
The workshops involved are located within a radius of approximately 25 km, ensuring efficiency and consistency in the process.
FUJIAN - ASSEMBLY WORKSHOP
Assembly of the pieces
≈ 15 km
The different panels are brought together to give shape to the garment.
Each element is assembled with precision to respect the cut, proportions, and original intention.
The seams are executed with high standards to ensure strength, comfort, and fluidity. The goal: to find the right balance between structure and freedom of movement.
The workshops are located within a perimeter of approximately 15 km, ensuring a controlled process and consistent quality.
FUJIAN - FINISHING & QUALITY CONTROL
Ironing, buttons, quality inspection
≈ 30 km
The final step before shipping, each piece is carefully finished.
Ironing, button attachment, adjustments: every detail is checked to ensure a clean and compliant finish.
A rigorous quality control is then carried out: measurements, alignments, and resistance are meticulously inspected.
Nothing is left to chance.
Operations are carried out within a perimeter of approximately 30 km, ensuring consistency and high standards right up to the final product.
PORT OF XIAMEN - CHINA
Sea freight
≈ 10,800 km
Once validated, the parts leave the workshops to begin their journey to Europe.
They are shipped by sea from the southeast coast of China.
This reliable and optimized mode of transport allows collections to be moved over long distances while controlling flows.
Approximately 10,800 km are covered before their arrival in France.
PORT OF LE HAVRE - FRANCE
Receipt & customs clearance
≈ 205 km
Upon arrival in France, the parts are received at the port of Le Havre.
They then go through the customs clearance stages, ensuring their compliance with standards and their official entry into the territory.
Once validated, they are transported to Paris for further distribution.
Approximately 205 km separate the port of Le Havre from their final destination.
PARIS - ZAYNE PARIS
Distribution
Ready for sale
The final stage of the journey: the pieces arrive in Paris and are prepared for sale.
They are sorted, stored, and then made available, ready to be worn.
Each garment is now ready to become part of the daily life of whoever chooses it.
From concept to reality, the piece finally finds its place.
